Visual Importer Professional automatizza il caricamento dei dati in QUALSIASI database da QUALSIASI database o file. Inoltre automatizza i processi aziendali come ad esempio FTP, E-mail: POP3 e SMTP, operazioni sui file, script SQL, Zip e Unzip, pianificazione e registrazione completa delle attività ETL. Supporto completo per Excel, Access, DBF e file di testo, Oracle, MS SQL Server, Interbase/Firebird, MySQL, PostgreSQL o qualsiasi database ODBC compatibile.
Ecco un esempio di semplice utilizzo:
scaricare file da un server FTP, caricarli nel database, eseguire procedure memorizzate o script SQL, e inviare una e-mail all"amministratore, una volta che il pacchetto è completato.
Uno dei grandi vantaggi di utilizzare Visual Importer Professional è che può anche aggiungere nuovi record, e aggiornare i vecchi, in base alla chiave primaria definita dall"utente.
